This is where I document my projects as they occur! email me at vinvigo128@gmail.com to discuss any of them.
As a resident and huge fan of Luther house of the Inter-Cooperative Council here in Ann Arbor, I have long been inspired by the potential held within a co-operative culture. With no bosses, no owners but ourselves, we could really do anything we put our minds to- well, within reason.
That "reason" is just practical limitations- we don't have a great workspace, or many tools for that matter, just being student housing. We do have a garage, but at the time it was cluttered, and many didn't even think it was "ours".
I had an epiphany. For larger, flashier projects, there is a barrier to entry that is highly deterring. You always have to weigh the project itself against the cost of building up enough resources to do the project. So the biggest thing I wanted to do was to address that barrier. The biggest place I want to put my creative efforts is into making everyone else's creative efforts easier to attain. If we wanted to make anything, we needed a space to make things, so I acted.
